A Community-Supported Compassion Project from Angel Messenger

Sometimes, the smallest acts of care can remind someone they are not forgotten.

Since this project began, dozens of Compassion Kits have already reached girls and young women across the United States, providing practical support, comfort, and the reminder that someone cares.

Compassion Kits for Her is a heart-led initiative created to provide practical support, comfort, dignity, and encouragement to girls and young women experiencing financial hardship or difficult life circumstances.

This season, Angel Messenger is preparing and sending Compassion Kits directly to recipients through a community-supported sponsorship model.

Every request represents a real girl or young woman hoping someone will remind her, "You matter." Every donation helps answer one of those requests with compassion.

More than supplies, every gift becomes a package of dignity, compassion, encouragement, and hope delivered directly into someone's hands.

Compassion, Delivered Directly

Unlike previous projects, these kits are not being collected for another organization or charity partner.

Rather than sending supplies to another organization, every kit is prepared, packed, and mailed directly by Angel Messenger to an approved recipient.

Every kit is packed with care and intended to remind the person receiving it that kindness still exists — and that they matter deeply.

What’s Included in a Compassion Kit?

Each Compassion Kit may include:

💜 Approximately one month of period supplies
💜 A worry stone or compassion heart
💜 Encouragement/Mental Health stickers
💜 Lip Balm
💜 Pad Case
💜 A gentle blessing

Each kit is thoughtfully assembled to feel supportive, comforting, and personal — not clinical.
There is no branding on the box.

Why This Matters

Many girls and young women quietly struggle to access basic hygiene products and self-care essentials.

For some, period products are rationed.
For others, personal care items become an impossible expense during difficult seasons of life.

These kits are designed to provide not only practical support, but also dignity, encouragement, and a reminder that someone cares.

Since launching this direct-mail project, requests have come from girls and young women experiencing homelessness, living in their cars, recovering from trauma, grieving the loss of loved ones, navigating financial hardship, raising children on their own, and facing many other difficult life circumstances.

A gift of about $20 helps provide one Compassion Kit. Larger gifts help purchase supplies, packaging, and postage, allowing even more kits to reach girls and young women in need.

When Compassion Kits for Her began, Angel Messenger planned to personally cover the costs of packaging and shipping. Thanks to the incredible response from this community, the project has grown far beyond what was originally anticipated.

Today, donations help provide not only the supplies inside each kit, but also the packaging and postage needed to safely deliver compassion into someone's mailbox.

Because this is a Pay What You Want project, every contribution—no matter the amount—helps us prepare and send more Compassion Kits. Those who wish to sponsor multiple kits or give beyond the suggested amount are always welcome to do so. Every contribution helps compassion continue its journey.

💗 A Shared Symbol of Compassion

As a way of saying thank you and welcoming you into this circle of compassion:

💗 Sponsors of one Compassion Kit (currently a suggested gift of $20) will receive a handcrafted Compassion Heart.

🕊️ Donations of $50 or more will receive a small handcrafted Wildflower Dove (each one is unique).

💜 Sponsor five Compassion Kits (a gift of $100) and receive both a handcrafted Compassion Heart and Wildflower Dove.

A handcrafted Compassion Heart is also included in every Compassion Kit we send, creating a shared symbol of compassion between those who give and those who receive.

Each Compassion Heart and Wildflower Dove is individually handmade by Rev. Sheri. Because every piece is handcrafted, each one is unique and will vary in color and design. Gifts are available while supplies last.

Due to shipping costs, handcrafted thank-you gifts are only available to supporters with mailing addresses in the United States and Canada at this time.

Through these partnerships, Angel Messenger helped provide period products, hygiene essentials, comfort items, and encouragement to girls experiencing hardship, instability, or foster care transition.

This new season of the project expands that mission through direct community-supported giving.

Requesting a Compassion Kit

A limited number of Compassion Kits are available during each release cycle.

Requests are reviewed privately and compassionately. Because supplies are limited, submitting a request does not guarantee approval.

At this time, kits are available only within the United States and Canada.

Compassion Kits may be requested by:
• women 18+
• parents or guardians
• teachers
• counselors
• caseworkers
• trusted adults supporting girls or young women in need

To help protect privacy and safety, kits intended for minors may be shipped only to a parent, guardian, school, organization, or trusted adult contact.
